Salt Lake City – Maschoff Brennan is pleased to announce that Mikhael Mikhalev is the firm’s newest shareholder effective January 1, 2020. Mikhael is joining an accomplished group of attorneys who advise on all matters of intellectual property law and are dedicated to assisting their clients in protecting their work and ideas.
Managing Shareholder Kirk Harris says the firm is proud to have someone in their ranks as talented as Mikhael and congratulated him on his election. “Mike has been an associate with Maschoff Brennan since graduating law school, and we look forward to him continuing to contribute to the success of our clients and our firm.”
Mikhael joined Maschoff Brennan in 2012. His practice focuses on U.S. and international patent preparation and prosecution, patentability evaluation clearance and non-infringement opinions, and intellectual property due diligence. Mikhael received his J.D. from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Utah and is a Registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mikhael is also currently serving as the Vice-Chair of Membership of the Utah Minority Bar Association.
