Maschoff Brennan is proud to announce the promotion of two new shareholders. Andrew D. Lee and David J. Williams, both from the firm’s Orange County, CA office, were elected as shareholders effective January 1.

Andrew D. Lee
Andrew joined Maschoff Brennan in April of 2020. His practice principally focuses on the preparing and prosecution of mechanical and software patent applications. He has extensive experience with automotive technology. Prior to joining the firm, Andrew worked for another California IP firm. He also spent two years in Nagoya, Japan as an in-house U.S. patent attorney for an automotive tier-1 supplier. His practice deeply involves advanced automotive technologies such as autonomous vehicle travel software, imaging and object recognition, lidar/radar/sonar devices, signal processing, wireless communications, relational databases, and distributed ledger and blockchain technology.
David J. Williams
David joined Maschoff Brennan in May of 2019 from another mid-size national law firm. He is a complex commercial litigator with a background in banking, finance, creditors rights, real estate, trade secret, misappropriation, copyright, trademark, securities, finance, and complex business matters, as well as a background in advising clients in general litigation and transactional matters. In such representations, he has handled complex litigation matters in both federal and state courts and creditors rights issues in bankruptcy proceedings. His practice focuses on litigation in business, real estate, commercial, business as well as transactional work in corporate, finance, business, intellectual property, and real estate matters.
