Maschoff Brennan Welcomes Three Associates

Maschoff Brennan welcomed three new attorneys to its Salt Lake City office including Trevor Clark, Alexis Juergens and Paxton Lewis.

Clark’s practice will focus on intellectual property litigation as well as patent preparation and prosecution. Prior to joining Maschoff Brennan, Trevor worked as a mechanical engineer for a consumer electronics company to engineer, design, and prototype portable wireless Bluetooth® speakers. Clark received his J.D. from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. He also has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University.

Juergens will focus her practice on complex and IP litigation. Juergens received her J.D. from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. During her time in law school, Juergens was the Executive Managing Editor of the Utah Law Review. She was also a Leary Scholar, the S.J. Quinney Biolaw Fellow and she was also on the Intellectual Property Moot Court.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology and criminal justice from Northern Arizona University. She served as a judicial intern in the District of Utah.

Lewis will focus her practice on litigation needs including patent, trademark and copyright infringement. She received her J.D. from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. Lewis received her B.A. in philosophy from Butler University and also earned her B.S. in Chemistry from Butler University. Lewis was a Judicial Clerk to Justice Thomas R. Lee in the Utah Supreme Court before joining Maschoff Brennan. Lewis is slated for two additional clerkships – one with Judge Kent A. Jordan on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and one with Judge Todd M. Hughes on the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
