Park City – Intellectual property and complex litigation law firm Maschoff Brennan welcomed three associates to the firm including Danny R. Barber, Kristian Blomquist and Trevor McDougal.
Barber will focus his practice on complex and intellectual property litigation. Barber also assists clients with the development of IP strategies. He received his J.D. from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. He also holds an M.B.A. with a focus on technology commercialization from Westminster College and a B.S. in Neuroscience from Westminster.
Prior to joining Maschoff Brennan, Barber worked as a Center for Law and Biomedical Science Research Fellow and interned at the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit for Judge Carolyn B. McHugh. He is admitted to practice in the State of Utah and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Barber will work in the firm’s Park City office.
Blomquist assists clients with patent preparation and prosecution in a variety of technologies including optical systems, analog circuits, wireless communication devices and mechanical devices. He received his J.D. from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. He also holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Utah.
He previously worked at L-3 Communications where he designed and verified wireless communication systems. He is admitted to practice in the State of Utah. Blomquist will also work in the Park City office.
McDougal also focuses his practice on a range of intellectual property needs including patent preparation and prosecution. He received his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. He also received his M.B.A. and a B.S. in chemical engineering from BYU.
Prior to law school, McDougal worked as a Process Automation Engineer. He is admitted to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office and the Utah State Bar. McDougal will work in the Salt Lake City office of Maschoff Brennan.
